The Global Innovation Lab was created with a simple but powerful mission:
Connecting students worldwide to solve real-world challenges through innovation, collaboration, and creativity.
Today’s students will inherit some of humanity’s greatest opportunities and challenges. Climate change, water sustainability, artificial intelligence, healthcare innovation, food security, energy production, and community development will require creative thinkers who can collaborate across cultures and borders.
The Global Innovation Lab gives students an opportunity to begin developing those skills now.
What Is the Global Innovation Lab
The Global Innovation Lab is an international learning community designed to bring together students, educators, and community partners from around the world.
Through authentic challenges, students will:
- Investigate real-world problems
- Collaborate with peers from other regions and countries
- Practice design thinking
- Develop innovative solutions
- Present their ideas to authentic audiences
- Build global citizenship skills
This isn’t another worksheet.
This isn’t another project.
This is an opportunity for students to become innovators, researchers, problem-solvers, and change-makers.
Our First Global Challenge
💧 Every Drop Counts: Designing Solutions for a Sustainable Water Future
Water is one of the most important resources on Earth, yet billions of people face challenges related to water access, quality, conservation, and sustainability.
Students will investigate:
- Local water issues
- Conservation strategies
- Water quality concerns
- Agricultural water use
- Emerging technologies
- Sustainable solutions for the future
Working with peers from other communities and countries, students will compare perspectives, share research, and design innovative solutions that could make a real difference.
